About

I am passionate about reshaping cities to be vibrant, people-centric spaces that enhance the quality of life for all residents. I believe that urban environments should foster well-being and be places of opportunity and joy, not stress or hardship.

As a sustainable urban transport consultant and lifelong city walker, I am committed to advancing eco-friendly, pedestrian-first, and public transit-oriented solutions. I’m a dedicated advocate for sustainable mobility and non-motorized transport (NMT), and I actively promote approaches that place people at the heart of urban planning.

My academic background includes a Master’s in Public Policy from the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin, a B.A. in International Business from ITESM in Mexico City, and a B.A. in Economics from UNAM in Mexico City. These qualifications, combined with hands-on experience, have equipped me with a multidisciplinary approach to urban policy and mobility challenges.

Having lived in eight cities of varying sizes—each with its unique character—I bring a global perspective to my work. Born and raised in the bustling streets of Mexico City, I’ve been fortunate to be adopted by cities such as Paris, Leipzig, Berlin, Quito, Los Angeles, Frankfurt, and Charleston. Each of these places has shaped my understanding of urban life and informed my vision for inclusive, sustainable city development.

With over 15 years of experience, I have advised national and local governments on sustainable urban mobility, resilience policies, and urban planning. As a data-driven problem solver, I’ve collaborated with think tanks, academia, and the private sector to develop and implement transformative projects. I am dedicated to championing operational excellence, leading improvements, and fostering strategic dialogues with stakeholders to drive impactful change in urban spaces.
